Groot v18.8 is now available.
Groot is a tiny utility to chroot into a Linux system installed on another partition or directory. It is similar to the arch-chroot command on Arch Linux, and based on the same script. It can be used on any Linux distribution.
It’s useful for installing and updating packages on an installed system without booting from it. It’s also useful for fixing boot issues when a system is unable to boot.Continue reading “Groot v18.8”

Aptik v18.5.2 is now available
I’ve made some changes to the GTK app to make it easier to use. There are now 3 UI modes — easy, advanced and expert.
The Easy mode shows a single page in navigation panel named “Backup” or “Restore”. This page has options for one-click backup (All Items) that was there in previous version of Aptik.
